Ah, this is going to be harder then I thought.
I thought that yes, while my tribe are not the most chatty people in the world, they would still talk from time to time and we would work on the challenges and generally be civil and chatty with each other until the game gets more interesting in a few rounds time.
Nope.
I was wrong.
Trying to talk to these people is like trying to count all the grains of sand in the world.....futile but ultimately pointless.
Anyways, when it comes to the challenge, it was your usual bland style 'multi-part' challenge that is usually used to weed out the inactives and show who is who within the tribe. It did its job....but it came with a twist which I think is actually really interesting (top marks for the host for this one), the sabotage element.
True it doesn't really seem to fit with the whole Egypt thing too much, but, I still like it. Especially as the tiebreaker was the number of sabotagers, a good introduction to what could be a very interesting twist to the game.
However....like I said before, people aren't really being active....I've tried to talk to Ibrehem, Courtney and Cindy over AIM....and that doesn't seem to work, I introduce myself and stare at nothing else but the white blank screen of inactiveness.
Now....sorry to keep jumping from subject to subject, but, back to the challenge....On paper, the challenge was won by two people, myself and Gabriel, who did a great job on the tribe flag. We alone got the two points which drew the challenge.
However, the real interesting bit was the tie resulting in saboteurs, whoever had the lowest number of them would win the challenge. We only had two.
I can only assume one of them was Rudy, but, he may not qualify as he did not actually take part in the challenge. We also have a few inactives, who, lets face it, probably didn't read the challenge well enough to understand what to do....but...only two?
Go us!
I didn't sabotage, and also, I probably won't ever sabotage. If I could, I would have the other tribe in possession of all three idols. It makes the game that much more interesting and .... easy.
If the other tribe gets the idols, that will cause them to fracture and have in-fighting, when they go to tribal council, they will end up using their idols and the whole thing will get messy, whereas our tribe just scoots along without a care in the world.
Though, I'd like to leave this topic with a stark warning....with so few people sabotaging in our tribe, I'm hoping that next time, people don't think, hmmm I can sabotage and get away with it, because the others won't do it and we'll still win.
Anyways, I've been rambling for too long....I will shut up now.
Congrats our tribe for winning, lets hope we continue to do so.
