So the game comes screeching to a halt. It was picking up a lot of pace for me, but alas, it has dropped. Unfortunately, a few people, Cindy, Courtney and Penny have sort of looked at the way the tribe and game has been running and have gone into autopilot with as little effort as possible.
The reason for this, is, unfortunately very clear. I really don't mean to disrespect the host here, but, the twist which was brilliant in concept has been executed pretty poorly. It favors the inactives and those who put in the least effort, and hurts the more active members.
If the sabotages were instead requiring more effort then the challenge itself (so, it had its own little puzzle, or a task which was very difficult to complete) then we wouldn't have a scenario where the apparent weak links in the tribe have more power then the well informed, comparably extremely active ones who have alliances....
Which has led to people just not really caring.
As such, a plan me and Ethan had to split the votes between Rudy and Gabriel has instead landed with us just going full force at Gabriel and hoping that he doesn't have an idol.
How....imaginative of us.
Is the game 'scarred'? Hmmm, maybe, it hasn't helped, for sure, but, I think as the inactives and 'less active's go, things will probably pick up again.

About two hours before tribal council, the plan changed and I never got round to posting it on here, which is a shame. Nows a decent enough time.
What had happened was Ethan, Cindy and Penny all popped up at near enough the same time and I had a good conversation with them. I found out where their votes were going, and if they hadn't decided, I made the decision for them.
What I found was that the votes were naturally splitting between Gabriel and Rudy, which is what we had always wanted. So that was fantastic, and all we needed was Courtney to vote. Not vote a certain way, just, vote.
We found using logic, that if Courtney votes then we can ensure that Rudy gets the most votes....but, of course, you know how that one goes. She self votes.....AGAIN.
So, Ive been stuck in a very interesting position. It is a three way tie, something we kinda expected. I had made sure Rudy's vote was going to Courtney, I didn't want him knowing about the Gabriel plan, in case he jumped on board. But..... What do we do now?
The thing is, Courtney will almost certainly self vote. Does she deserve to be in this game? No. She checks on the board once every three days, and curiously enough answer the tribal council questions....but essentially nothing else.
I am starting to think less and less that Rudy has the idol, but because me and him have only just started talking, I can't rule it out. He could just be a very very naive player and has gotten SO lucky that he wasn't voted out.
So, my plan this tribal council part 2? I can't quite decide, my vote won't be for Gabriel, it will change, but, to whom, I don't quite know. I know Rudy isn't allowed to use his idol now, we've already started voting, so, he could be easy pickings....but, my biggest fear is, we have a tribal swap, and I'm stuck with Courtney, who self votes herself out of the game, landing me in a huge pile of poo.
Its not like Rudy doesn't deserve to go, he does, he has sabotaged challenge after challenge, with little or no remorse, whether he has an idol to show for it, I don't quite know. Regardless I wouldn't feel bad if he left.
So....who knows?
