Episode 9

Do I apologise for my little tantrum last round? Yes.
Do I think it was justified? Hmmm, probably not.
Was it what I was honestly thinking? Yes.

So, I stand by what I said, because it was a confessional of how I felt at the time. Now that I am in the jury phase though, I understand its fair game, and if they want me gone, then so be it.

Anyways, with this immunity win, gives me a fresh opportunity to do some damage in this game...I don't have much to work with, in fact I have very little to go on, but, I have enough. Enough to give it my best shot. Who knows, it might just work.

So, late on in this round, just as tribal council was posted, I got talking to Wendy. Whilst she might think she gave nothing away, she gave so much info, it wasn't even funny. Though whats even better, is she probably thought she got so much out of me for very little in return.

Just a pity most of the things I were saying to her were lies.

Though, I did tell the truth sometimes, but, it was mixed in between the lies, so, her having any chance of figuring out whats going on is really small.

The thing is, I couldn't work into the conversation the fact I might have an idol. There just wasn't the opening. If I forced it in there, she would have gotten suspicious, so, I needed to bide my time, but, alas....it never came.

So, where do we move from here? Well, I can put it more clearly by posting my recent PM exchange between Ethan and me.

And don't even get me started on Gabriel. The thing is, all my plans and thoughts rely on him sticking with us, if he isn't and plans to further his own game by one or two rounds by screwing us other then we're done for either way.

This is the message stream between myself and Ethan, it is pretty self explanatory, so, I wont bother with a commentary, but, if anyone ever ends up reading this wants a bit of help as to whats going on, just give me a shout.

LYDIA:

Ok....so, lets try and keep the Giza tribe alive somewhat.
As the title of this PM suggests, lets be smart about this.

Don't bother going for challenge 4, telling the location of the idols, everyone on the ex-Djo tribe is going to do that.

I'm going for challenge 2, so, if you could try and go for challenge 3, we might have a chance of getting an advantage.

Oh, and btw, I have an idol.

I got it in the coconut challenge, so, I've had it a while, sorry for not telling you. Obviously, I wasn't planning on telling anyone, but, now that everyone is going to find out anyways, I hope that you can forgive me, but also realise that going after challenge 4 is useless if you don't have the numbers.

If we can win challenge 2 and 3, I think me you and Gabriel actually have a brilliant chance of making it through this, if one of the rewards is an extra vote at TC, then we are sorted for the rest of the game (I'll explain why, later)


ETHAN:

Wow that's fantastic! I'm so happy that you have an Idol. I'm not at all upset or angry that you didn't tell me, I completely understand, it's a game changer haha. I definately think that doing Challenge #2 and #3 is smarter. I arleady sumbitted a score for Immunity, but I don't know if it's good enough.

I've been talking to a few people from the other tribe, and I think that Liz might be a lone wolf. I've also been talking to Tom, I'm hoping that he let's something slip in a PM by accident.

One thing about Gabriel is that, Tom's telling me that Gabe is saying that you and me are really close, so I don't know how solid Gabe is.


LYDIA:

He's just trying to cover his own ass I guess, but, he's gotta know he is on the chopping block after me and you....so, he will keep loyal to us if we tell him we can take him to the end...which, we might, depending on how good these rewards are. You submitted a challenge 3 reponse, yes?


ETHAN:

Yes, I'm working on the 3rd challenge. One of them is probably a bad one while the other is probably a good one, I just hope that whoever gets the bad one, isn't the target at Tribal.


LYDIA:

Right, put very simply. We can win this entire game, but, it all depends on our actions this round and next. I have somewhat of a plan, but, it doesn't take into account whether you have won challenge 3, and assumes that Liz is on the outs.

We, as an alliance cannot win this round on this tribal, so, sorry to be blunt, but I will not be giving you the idol this round, BUT, we need to give off the impression that I have.

Now, we have to pray someone other than Liz or Gabriel won the fourth challenge, because that means they will know I have an idol...but what they thankfully didn't know is that I have won the second challenge, and got myself.....
'Nullify two votes'
Which could be huge....especially if Liz is with us.
We can have us three and her vote for whoever, nullify two of their votes, and move up one notch with idol still in play.

OR

If we could force them to split their votes 3-3, but then have Liz join us, then it will be 4-3-2 without need of using the power of idol or nullify....but thats really risky.

Either way, we need to get in touch with Liz...I will do so now, and then post the PM I send to her, to you. I will promise her the world to try and get her on side, please don't be offended. We honestly can actually take this game if we can get her on side.

Please get back to me whether you won challenge 3, it will be absolutely huge if you did, because the plan can change again, and be even more likely to work.

It might be slim, but we have a shot.

I see what you mean. I think that we can definately get Liz to fliip, she's probably on the bottom of the totem pole on her tribe since she's not that active. Liz already said that people have mentioned my name already for Tribal.

I'm glad that you won Part 2 and that it was a good reward. I don't see anything in my confessional or didn't receive a PM, so I assume that I didn't win Part 3, but we still don't know if it was a bad thing or a good thing.

For Tribal, I think that we can get me, you, and Gabriel to vote together, and hopefully Liz. I will try to get one more person to flop without letting slip that we have a plan. I'm hoping that my PMs with Tom will pay off and that he wont' want to vote for me.

Who did you have in mind for Tribal? Cirie?

I don't know, I think Cirie is who I would have said a little while ago, but, it just seems to easy, I fear they have two of the three idols in this game, and if they do, we need to play it absolutely safe, going after Kelly or Aras seems safest, and probably Kelly would be best, no-one in hell is she going to play an idol if she has one, and no-one is going to give her one.

It's your call, I am good with either Cirie or Kelly....I have been spending the day putting seeds of doubt into Wendy's head, just trying to make her trust Tom a little less, because I know they are close.

Wendy also made an interesting observation, she thinks that we are going after Aras this round, I don't know what made her say that, but, it didnt seem like a lie....so, we might want to think about looking at getting Aras on board at some point.

I've gotten in contact with Liz, but, I think you are likely to know her better then I do, SO, whichever of the two targets you decide on, go ahead and tell Liz and get back to me as soon as you can. This vote relies on all of them getting together and trying to come up with a counter plan to our plan.

OK, Now is time for some commentary, at this point, I hadn't spoken to Liz, so I had no idea what the final plan is. So, between that last message and this next one was a couple of hours and a big swing in the game.

LYDIA:

Basically, we're voting for Cirie, we have four votes, which is a majority, considering I have the nullify options.

Liz is on board, I managed to speak to her....and Gabriel, well, he is a fool if he doesn't go with us.

Liz thinks she may be able to get Aras to go with us if we pull this off this round.

So there we go. Cirie this round....if it works, which it *should* then, we have this made. We really do. I'm so nervous.

Hi, by the way.

Um, I would really have liked to get to know you, and try and build some sort of trust between us, but, last round I was busy and I've run out of time.

So, we would like you to join myself, Ethan and Gabriel in the vote this round. You may be wondering what we can offer in return, to be honest, we can't offer your safety, even with you on board, we are still in the minority this round and next....all I can say is should any of us make it through these next few rounds I can promise final three. I'd like F2, but I can't guarantee it.

Another thing we can't offer you is any sort of trust, you don't know us, and we are asking you to make a decision in the matter of hours, not days. All I can say is, whilst I cannot speak for Gabriel too much, myself and Ethan are very loyal people and we have fought through a lot to get here, we will be loyal if you allow us the chance to prove it.

I have an idol, you may know that, I am not sure who won Challenge 4, but, likely everyone will know soon enough. So, we are hoping that your old tribe will try and split the votes between Ethan and Gabriel, if thats the case, you can vote with us and make it 4-3-2. I know, it sounds completely insane, and it probably is....so, if you are close with anyone in your tribe and are interested in changing this game up maybe you can help us turn it 5-4?

The possibilities are endless (actually, no, sorry, scrap that, we have very few options) but, we are willing to vote for anyone, in any combination, we are three free votes, and we know we can help you in your game as well as ours.

Hi, wow, ok, thanks for your honesty, that information is really valuable
I have idol number 2, I thought everyone would go for numbers 1 and 3, so I went for 2, quite late I might add, and to my surprise no-one else had taken it, so, yay.
Anyways, yeah, Cirie is more then fine by me, I got talking to her today, and I think she won Challenge number 4, so, as this is the only round that she won't be expecting to be eliminated on, now is our only shot.

Ok....um, are you close with Aras? Is he likely to stay strong with the Djosar's? I ask because, while 4 is good, 5 is obviously best. I can come up with a plan with only 4 votes, but it involves tricking everyone into splitting the votes, and I'm not sure if the Djosars have enough time to organise that. So, a majority is nice, if not, I won Challenge 2, and boy, is it a good un.....

I can nullify TWO votes, making the majority for this round just four votes. So, we technically have a majority already, BUT, if we can get a fifth vote this round, then we are sorted for the future of this game....

Get back to me with what you think about what Ive said, you know much more then I do, so, if you think theres a flaw in my plan, I'm willing to change anything.

Girl, I suggest you use the 2 votes. They MIGHT split the votes, I dunno. Last time I heard I think they are.

I havent seen Aras, but we talk sometimes.

I think 4 is a solid number. Use your gift and we'll be fine. I think it'll be 4-3-2 woth someone playing the idol. Or just to be safe, play your prize.

What did Cirie told you? I think she won the guess who has the idols.

Cirie told me pretty much that Gabriel IS going home, and no questions asked. I was really shocked she was so sure, and now I know why. I never would have guessed she was the leader of the alliance.

So yeah, a quick words up, Gabriel has been trying to distance himself away from me and Ethan thinking he can buy himself one or two more rounds in the game....but he isnt stupid, he will vote with us, he has no choice in the matter. He needs to know though, he actually IS the target this round.... Yeah, I'll use the nullify votes option this round, but getting someone else on board for next round (4-4 eek) is really important.

If we can oust Cirie this round, I will try my best to pull Aras with us.

We talk here and there but I'm sensing that he isn't 100% with Cirie and Tom.

Talk to Gabe and tell him to stick with us. It'll be stupid cuz I heard him and Ethan's name. It couldve been you but you won so.

This is the message I sent to Gabriel about the vote tonight, the thing is, he is a FOOL if he doesn't join us. I don't care what alliances he has made within the ex-Djosar's, they are meaningless. I can say with complete confidence, without even knowing who Gabriel's been talking to, that me and Ethan are his best chance of making it far in this game.

Nope, we are still going strong, and whilst I prefer to keep the plan as quiet as possible, I can tell you now that no Giza is going home while I'm still fighting.

The thing is....I hope you understand I have no reason to lie to you or deceive you. I have immunity and your vote may seemingly be worthless if you plan on voting with the Djosar....but with Giza, it is priceless.
